Black Swan Review
This might be the longest I’ve gone without posting a review; it’s been about fifteen days, and I swear I’ll be posting more soon. If it’s any consolation, I’m currently reading three different books, watching two complete television series, and playing four different games all at the same time. So more reviews are coming, I promise.
My biggest problem is that there’s no new television on,...

Psych: "Dual Spires" Review
This review is going up pretty late, but I still want to write it, nonetheless. A few weeks ago, Psych aired an episode that parodied Twin Peaks - the episode even featured many of the original cast members. It was a fantastic episode, and it has me wanting to watch the original show.
I’d seen a few episode of Twin Peaks when I was younger. I only remember three things: it had great music,...

this-thing-i-call-life asked: I would just like to say that in searching for a good picture for a Fringe post, I stumbled upon your tumblr and couldn't believe how we have the same taste in shows. I love Fringe, The Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, etc. It's nice to know some people have good taste. haha.

Fringe: "Marionette" Review
Last week, I questioned where Fringe was headed… In my review, I speculated that the success of Season 3 would depend on where the series headed after the switch back, and how the characters would deal the consequences and fallout after all that’s occurred. “Marionette” absolutely shattered those expectations, delivering a rich, emotional story that really struck a chord.
“Marionette”...

The Walking Dead: "TS-19" Review
The Walking Dead draws to a close this week - it’s going to be a while until next season (but no worries, it has been renewed). “TS-19” is a good episode overall, but it once again pushes The Walking Dead into the science-fiction genre. You can decide for yourself if that’s a good or bad thing.
“TS-19” takes place entirely in the CDC, where life seems pretty perfect compared to the ...

Fringe: "Entrada" Review
Wow - this was a busy and fantastic episode of Fringe. I honestly don’t think it’s possible to touch on every notable scene in “Entrada.” There wasn’t a moment wasted. So let’s get right into it.
“Entrada” starts with a bang, picking up where we left off at the end of “The Abducted.” I expected Peter to slowly build up clues about Alternate Olivia, and it would all lead to an eventual...

The Turn of the Screw (The Innocents) Review
I’ve decided to make this review a two-for-one special by reviewing both the novel and film adaptation of Henry James’ sophisticated novel, The Turn of the Screw. That being said, you can find this identical review in two places: both in the Movie Hub (under The Innocents) and the Literature Hub (under The Turn of the Screw). Rather than writing two separate reviews, I thought it best to...
